Gift of mortgage-free house gives veteran and family a home for the holidays

Purple Heart recipient and retired U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Clint Myatt and his family received a mortgage-free home thanks to Military Warriors Support Foundation and Wells Fargo.

Just days before Christmas this year, retired U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Clint Myatt, his wife Jacki, and their six children began an exciting new chapter in life thanks to a mortgage-free home in Tarboro, North Carolina. After receiving the keys, the family went inside to discover even more holiday surprises — a decorated Christmas tree surrounded with wrapped presents, a pantry stocked with food, and a new family dining table. The mortgage-free home and additional gifts were donated by Wells Fargo and Military Warriors Support Foundation, which provides homes and financial mentoring to wounded veterans and their families as part of the Home4WoundedHeroes program.
