Today we're getting to honor a combat-wounded veteran and their family. Six kids, husband and wife, retired Marine. Gosh, what more can you ask for to be able to award them a mortgage-free home right before Christmas?

When a veteran is awarded a home through our Homes4Wounded Heroes Program, it’s an opportunity to provide them a foundation of success. We come through this program with them for three years offering them family and financial mentorship program.

Clint:

It's really going to take a big burden off of especially my shoulders and, you know, my wife's too. To know that, you know, we have this home and we don't have to worry about that heavy mortgage payment every month.

We're filling the house with all of the holiday festivities that you might imagine. Christmas trees, presents for each one of the family members. Lots of Wells Fargo ponies to welcome them home. We also have the most amazing dining room table that seats eight, so it's a chair for every person with place settings. So, it really, really, truly feels like home inside the home.

That’s the first table we’ve ever had that’s big enough to fit all of us at the same table so that was great. And then just, the house is just is perfect.

Lynne:

We hope that Sergeant Myatt and his family start a long, happy life here at this home, filled with lots of lots of memories for years to come.
