Doing good matters at Wells Fargo. Eligible employees can take up to 16 hours of paid time off each year to give back and support the causes they care about. This can be volunteering with a community or nonprofit organization, donating time at a local school, or serving on various boards, councils, or election departments, just to name a few examples.
Drew Wineland uses his paid volunteer hours to raise future service dogs, and he increases his impact by directing Community Care Grants to help the organization achieve its mission.
Here’s how Drew is living the well life.

Working with future service dogs is really rewarding, because I get to see the impact that they will have on people’s lives.
Let’s go.
Hi, my name is Drew Wineland, and I work in our human resources group.

I’ve been with Wells Fargo for 25 years.

I used the paid volunteer time that Wells Fargo provides me to work with future service dogs who will eventually help one of their clients achieve more independence. Wells Fargo supports our employees’ activities in the community in a number of different ways.

One of the great programs is called Community Care Grants, where we can direct dollars towards our charities that are really meaningful to us. I’m passionate about being involved in the community, because I get to see the power of the partnerships that these potential service dogs have with their clients. And it’s great to see how the company then supports me in being active in that.
I’m Drew Wineland, and I’m living the Well Life.
