Wells Fargo No. 1 in equity research

The Equity Research Team at Wells Fargo Securities has taken over the top spot in Thomson Reuters’ annual analyst awards.

Wells Fargo is now No. 1 in equity research, according to the 2017 Thomson Reuters StarMine Analyst Awards, up from the No. 2 ranking in 2016.

The annual awards rank analysts based on the performance of their investment recommendations and the accuracy of their earnings forecasts. Wells Fargo analysts earned 21 awards — the highest among the 161 firms evaluated.
