Wells Fargo has named veteran industry leader Titi Cole head of Operations, effective April 17.
Cole will report to Avid Modjtabai, head of Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation. Cole succeeds Jerry Enos, who announced his retirement in January after more than 35 years with Wells Fargo and Wachovia.
“Our Operations team is the backbone of Wells Fargo, and we are fortunate to have incredible leadership for this team,” Modjtabai said. “In her new role, Titi brings proven team builder skills and a breadth of experience and commitment to helping customers.”
In her current role, Cole leads teams that provide strategy, analytics, program management, and channel partnerships for Consumer Credit Solutions. She is a member of Wells Fargo’s Management Committee.
With more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Cole has held a number of senior leadership roles, ranging from global retail banking to consumer lending and payments. She was also a senior leader in risk and operations management, product development, strategy, and innovation.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Cole held a number of senior executive roles with Bank of America, leading consumer credit card and payments, retail products, and consumer checking businesses. Before that, she worked with BMO Harris Bank, leading its retail product management, strategy, and regional operations; and held leadership positions with McKinsey & Company.
“We look forward to Titi’s contributions as our Operations team continues to innovate and help Wells Fargo deliver exceptional customer experiences across all of our businesses every day,” Modjtabai said.
