Teaming up to support veterans at concert tour stops

Zac Brown Band and Wells Fargo are recognizing military service members — and giving veterans a VIP experience — during stops on the band’s summer concert tour.

“We're blessed to be in a position to help bring awareness to the needs of our veterans.”

That’s how Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band describes the way Wells Fargo and the band show appreciation to U.S. military service members and veterans during a leg of the band’s summer concert tour. “It’s great to team up with Wells Fargo and inspire others to get involved,” he adds.

Veterans selected by local nonprofits are given VIP experiences and mingle with band members at shows through Sept. 18.

Jerry Quinn, Wells Fargo Military Affairs program manager, says, “By working together with Zac Brown Band, we hope to get the word out about challenges facing veterans, including housing, career transition, and financial education.”

A video saluting the dedication of service members and highlighting Wells Fargo’s support of veterans also is featured during the performance.
