Through the NeighborhoodLIFT® program, I was able to receive over $15,000 towards the closing costs on my home, and I feel so great to know that it is a program that helps veterans the way that it helped me.

Wells Fargo has donated more than 400 mortgage-free homes valued at over $60 million to veterans and military families in all 50 states. The impact is the reduced debt, the increased credit score, the financial readiness that’s facilitated by the donation of the home.

Wells Fargo understands the value that veterans bring to our organization. We have programs specifically designed for veterans.

Heather LoBue, U.S. Air Force Veteran and Wells Fargo Legal:

After 28 years, the thought of separating from the Air Force was terrifying. Wells Fargo Advisors offered a three-month fellowship through Hiring our Heroes. And in those three months, there were 22 of us retiring and separating military members from all branches. They are being hired all across the company into different positions, because they are able to use these skills and adapt them and be a benefit at Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo is excited to support veteran-owned small business. Over the last three years, we have spent more than $200 million with veteran-owned businesses, and we are a corporate member of the National Veteran Business Association.

Earlier this year, we were excited to collaborate with Hiring America and Bunker Labs to create a three-part docu series, Journey to the Muster, which showcased the veteran entrepreneur pitch competition. It's really about the lives of our military, helping them negotiate the hurdles that we know they face because they made the decision to raise their right hand and serve our country. That is our impact, and we look forward to continuing that impact in the future.
